Riding & Carriage Driving Lessons
Friends Lane Riding School are a friendly professional provider of riding and carriage driving lessons for children of all abilities, in clean well maintained surroundings on well schooled, horses and ponies. Whether you are a beginner or seeking to improve your skills our instructors are patient and caring and here to help you reach your goals.
Riding - Group Lessons*
Group lessons are great for beginners who want to 'have a go'. You will be given tuition right from the ground up, from mounting the horse or pony and learning how to hold the reins right up to cantering. Our group lessons are mixed age but if you would prefer to join a group lesson which is adult only or just for children, please call us to find out when we have a group lesson to suit you.
Due to COVID 19 and social distancing our Minimum age has been increased to 5 years.
£22.00 (Children 4 to 18 years) per half hour

Riding - Private/Semi Lessons*
Individual private lessons are for the rider who has specific goals, whether your goal is to learn a new skill, for example showjumping or something more sedate like learning to trot or canter, our private lessons will mean you will get our instructors full attention.

Carriage Driving Childs Lessons*
Group Carriage Driving Lessons with friends, have a group lesson (up to 2 samall children). Our instructor will allow each of you to take the reins during the lesson, this will show you everything from harnessing up right through to taking a Carriage out on the road. You don't have to be familiar with horses to learn how to Drive a Carriage!

Carriage Driving - Private Childs Lessons*
Private Carriage Driving Lessons will give you an in depth knowledge of how to handle a horse and Carriage both in the menage and on the road. It might also enable you to teach your own horse how to Drive.
